Fuchsia ‘Gartenmeister’ has unusual sprays of trumpet-like flowers

Normally Fuchsia is considered a hanging plant but ‘Gartenmeister’ is the Fuchsia we use as a bedding and container plant. It quickly forms a strong shrubby center about a foot high and around two or three feet wide. Outside the thick greenery you’ll see large numbers of the signature red trumpets dangling downward. ‘Gartenmeister’ is a shade plant but it doesn’t mind the heat. Since the blooms last a long time, it’s a good choice for a quick—but dramatic—summer presentation. We are shipping this cultivar in the 8-inch pot this week.
