Poinsettia Open House Tomorrow

Point RedWe'd like to invite our Christmas buyers to our Poinsettia Open House tomorrow, November 14, between 10am and 3pm. It's a casual affair, so just drop by when it is convenient for you. For buyers who are extra choosy about their crops, this is an excellent time for you to personally review our plants and reserve the pots and lots that you want us to ship to your place.

Even though Poinsettias are available everywhere, they are not exactly easy plants to grow. There are nuances to this crop that affect the size and quality of the plant, so we give buyers who want the cream of the crop the chance to personally hand-pick the Poinsettias they want to offer to their customers.

Our early Poinsettia crop is ready in our regular 4.5-inch, 6.5-inch, 7.5-inch, 8.5-inch and 10-inch sizes, as well as 12-inch and 15-inch. For colors, you can review the reds, the whites, the pinks and a couple of novelties as well. It's a well-rounded selection of fat, bushy plants - the way we like to grow them.

As an added bonus, we will be showing some of the new Poinsettias that we are testing for the Ohio State University Trials. These are brand new cultivars not yet on the market, so you can get a sneak peek at some of the new genetics the breeders are developing. OSU allows us to sell the plants once we grow them out, so you can even take the new cultivars home if you like them. If you are curious, we can show you the Mira and Titan series, for example, and share our opinions with you.
