Kale | Ornamental Nero di Toscana

This Italian heirloom has very dark green, almost black leaves that measure up to 24 inches long. Plants resemble palm trees and the leaves have an intriguing crumpled appearance. ‘Nero di Toscana’ is winter hardy and has a nice, sweet flavor, especially after a frost. It’s also known as Tuscan kale.
