Our charming new Bright Ideas Ipomoea delivers the lovely, trailing sweet potato vine look in an extra compact package. These plants have a short, mounded habit that stays within a foot of the crown. They grow only about 6 inches tall and are well behaved—still great for containers, but also able to fit into smaller landscape designs that traditional Ipomoea would overwhelm.

• ‘Bright Ideas Black’ has a striking dark black leaf that contrasts nicely with other colorful plants. It comes in the 1801 flat and the 6-inch pot.
• ‘Bright Ideas Red’ is a dramatic deep maroon. It comes in the 1801 flat and the 4.5-inch pot.
