It’s a natural thriller
There’s a lot going on here. Frilly leaves are deepest red-purple and even the stems and veins are dark red for all-over texture and color. Plus ‘Scarlet Bor’ grows about 18 inches tall so it’s stately compared to many other kales. This is a thriller—set it in the center of a big old urn surrounded by lower-growing ‘Nagoya Rose’ and some colorful Matrix pansies.
Stays crisp when picked—and stems are tender
