‘AngelMist™ Spreading Berry Sparkler’—a rare striped Angelonia

Longtime readers know of our fondness for Angelonia, so you can imagine our excitement when we discovered a striped variety! This pattern is unique, the color combo is unusual, and, well, stripes just aren’t seen in Angelonias. They’re almost as rare as exclamation points in our plant descriptions—and we were even tempted to use two!!

Unique bicolor blooms angling for attention

‘Berry Sparkler’ is a spreading Angelonia from the AngelMist™ series, which means the stalks lean about 45 degrees into the garden. It joins our other AngelMist™ Spreading varieties: Dark Purple, Pink, and White.

A small percentage of the crop reverts back to a blue, which is pretty in and of itself. Normally a reversion is discouraged, but we like the small splashes of light blue streaking through our plantings.
